Hotel Interiors Superintendent - White Plains, New York will be responsible for the oversight and completion of Interior Hotel Construction projects throughout Westchester County and NYC. A DOB license is preferred but not needed. Client DetailsOur client is currently leading the Commercial Building and Construction industry in the five Burroughs of New York, NY, and the surronding areas. They have been an established for for 30+ years focusing on Commercial Build outs, ground up construction and renovations. • Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
• On site project site daily
• Will have Assistant as your direct reports
• Work directly with Project Manager to ensure project is completed on time and under budget
• Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
• Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
• Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.
• Track and report on all project costs
• Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
• Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements
• Provide support and guidance for project personnel
• Establish and maintain communications between team and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
• Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activitiesProfile
  • 3-5 years of leading commercial construction projects in Building and Construction industry
  • Experience with Commercial and health care
  • Experience in Commercial and Office markets
  • Experience handling projects 100% independently
  • Local to Westchester County
  • Must have experience renovating Hotels
  • Degree preferred
