Senior Tax Advisor (Hybrid schedule)(Can work out of White Plains, Fairfield, Ridgefield, or Westport Office)Established wealth management firm seeking an experienced advisor to join the firm and grow their career. The firm is a holistic wealth planner catering to High Net Worth clients offering financial planning, investment management, as well as tax and estate planning. The firm is experiencing steady growth and is seeking a long-term partner to help build the firm for the future. The Competencies: The Senior Tax Advisor candidate will have a distinguished educational background. 5-10 years of experience in Private Client tax accounting, or trust and estate planning required; CPA required THE RESPONSIBILITIESManage and oversee all accounting services: As the head CPA, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting services provided by the firm, including tax planning and compliance, financial statement preparation, and bookkeeping for individual and small business clients. Mostly on the review side, we have a remote tax team that does 90% of all data entry. Develop and maintain client relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely and accurate financial advice, addressing their concerns and inquiries, and fostering trust and rapport. Drive business growth and development: Actively seek opportunities to expand the firm's client base and service offerings, and implement marketing strategies to promote the firm's brand and reputation in the local market. (This is a large one, we are not looking for someone to bring clients in, but to be client facing with the delivery of tax advise) Ensure regulatory compliance: Stay up-to-date with current accounting and tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the firm and its clients are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
