Job Description:

My client is looking to add a Senior Property Accountant to their team to accurately oversee the financial well-being of a portfolio of commercial real estate properties. You'll work as part of an extremely collaborative team of professionals applying principles of accounting and finance to analyze financial information to compile accurate financial reports.

This is a reputable, well-established real estate development and investment firm experiencing explosive growth over the last several years. Review and analyze general ledgers for a portfolio of commercial properties.
* Develop budgets and reforecasts in collaboration with executive and property management.
* Prepare and distribute monthly financial packages internally and externally to management, stakeholders, and government agencies.
* Prepare CAM and tax reconciliations.
* Review commercial leases to ensure accurate billing.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
* Train and oversee junior accountants.
* Demonstrated 3 years of experience in commercial property accounting.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of lease provisions, must be comfortable reading and deciphering legal documents.
* Experience with CAM reconciliations.
* Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, Sage, desirable.
* Familiarity with construction accounting and AIA billing desirable but not necessary.

* Work remotely from home on Fridays.
