Responsibilities of the Controller Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost accounting functions. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports on cost variances. Collaborate with manufacturing and product management teams to optimize product costing. Develop and maintain standard cost rates and conduct margin analysis. Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting. Oversee inventory management, including the annual physical inventory process. Implement and refine cost accounting systems to improve efficiency. Conduct financial analyses for investment decisions and new product development. Work closely with corporate financial teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data. Preferred Requirements of the Controller 10 year's in cost accounting or finance within a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred. CPA or MBA preferred. Proficiency in JD Edwards or other ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and HFM. Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and financial forecasting.
