y: Senior Manager, Contracts & Rebates: Works closely with Contract
Strategy to ensure all payer and SP agreements are administered
accurately within SAP and Sun’s Revenue Management System. Sr.
Manager will manage a team that works closely with finance,
accounts payable, contract administration, Pricing & Contract
Analytics and Contract Strategy to ensure rebates and chargebacks
are accrued, analyzed, processed and paid timely. Works directly
with customers to resolve discrepancies with payer invoices and
other assigned accounts. Responsibilities: • As the Senior Manager,
Contracts and Rebates, you will be an integral member of the Sun
Operations team that negotiates, evaluates, processes and executes
sales contracts for U.S. markets. • Develop and lead all efforts to
maintain contract parameters in Sun’s revenue management system,
including customer plan to formulary assignments, products, rebate
rates, rebate value, performance tiers and eligibility. • This is a
supervisory position with direct reports; therefore, this position
will establish goals and objectives and prepare performance
appraisals for direct reports. • Manager will also coach and mentor
direct reports as needed. • Manager will monitor and review the
work product of all direct reports. • Review proposed changes to
contract terms and provide feedback to the Contract Strategy team
as needed. • Provide trends to management on a regular basis to
provide visibility as to the status, volume, and potential
liability of future rebates, disputes, fees, and payments. •
Develop SOPs and user guides, and expand/update existing
documentation as needed. • Work with Sun IT on needs to improve
system and/or User understanding of system. • Implement, support
and interpret all Market Access commercial contracts across
Business Units. • Support organization during high demand audit
cycles and quarterly reporting as needed. • Collaborates with US
commercial functions to ensure business objectives are met
including Finance/Controlling, Market Access, Marketing, Pricing &
Contract Analytics, Gov’t Pricing and IT. Qualifications: • BA
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis or
equivalent work experience in a similar position. • 8 years
previous work experience managing rebates, chargebacks and/or
Financial Planning and Analysis required. • Skilled at coaching and
development of a team in a related field. • Prior experience with
an ERP System (JD Edwards, SAP, NetSuite). • Prior experience
processing one or more of the following: Managed Care rebates,
Medicaid claims, government and/or wholesaler fees within a
pharmaceutical company. • Knowledge and experience in interpreting
commercial and government contracts. • Prior Pharmaceutical
Experience is required. • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of
Contract Management Systems, such as Vistex (or other comparable
system such as Model N, CARS, imany, icontracts or Revitas is
required). • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. •
Track record of developing and providing data analyses and
reporting • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills. •
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on
time management and follow through skills. • Effective communicator
and possess well-developed strong organizational skills. • Broad
knowledge of multiple functional areas including Market Access,
Finance and Brand Marketing and able to work collaboratively with
these functions to drive results. • Exhibit ability to successfully
handle multiple projects at once. • Prior role as a Business User
in the implementation of a Contract Management System is a plus.
Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors,
including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus
