A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Medical Scheduler in Bernards, NJ! This is a full-time, contract opportunity with a national healthcare organization. Scheduler Compensation • Competitive hourly pay: $20-$24/hr • Full benefits after 90 days • 401(k) with match after 1 year of service on eligibility dates Scheduler Highlights • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST • Work with patients, families, and providers to ensure timely and accurate scheduling and intake coordination Scheduler Responsibilities • Answer incoming phone calls, SMS, and electronic web requests for scheduling • Perform patient registration and demographic/insurance intake • Place outbound calls to clients and coordinate appointment logistics • Handle fax and electronic work queue scheduling requests promptly • Identify and document special patient needs (e.g., interpreter, special accommodations) • Coordinate with patient families and internal staff to align schedules • Connect patients with billing for insurance verification • Meet quality and productivity metrics and escalate complex cases as needed • Maintain knowledge of insurance and medical terminology • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and service Scheduler Requirements • Education: Required: High School Diploma or GED • Experience: Required: 1–3 years of prior experience in a healthcare or scheduling environment Typing speed of at least 35 WPM Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a high-volume call center or scheduling environment Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes Experience in Private Duty Home Care scheduling Background as Scheduler, Practice Office Assistant, or Patient Access Rep EMR experience (Med Syst Vincent preferred) Why Apply? • Be part of a fast-paced and supportive scheduling team • Help streamline patient care and access to services • Gain experience with healthcare systems and EMR platforms If this Scheduler role sounds like the right fit, contact me today – call, email, or apply to this posting!
