Job Description:
We are looking for an ambitious marketing content specialist who
can create content to be used for our design agency's website and
social presence. Product Ventures is a brand strategy & design
agency specializing in product and packaging innovation for Fortune
500 companies like PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, Nestle, and the world's
best-known brands. This marketing content specialist position will
be tasked with creating content that conveys our agency's creative
expertise, knowledgeable insights, and prolific history of success
designing for innovations and rebrands.This is a content creation
role and we are looking for candidates with a clear creative skill
or ability. This can be writing, graphic design, photography, video
editing, or etc. You do not need to have a marketing background. We
want someone who can produce content to be deployed in our
marketing strategy such as copywriting, case studies, photos of our
designers at work, social video (Tik Tok/Instagram), graphics, and
etc.We are open to entry-level candidates or professionals early in
their career - so long as they have relevant experience
demonstrating a creative skill. We recognize this experience may
include work that was unpaid, personal, or completed during school.

position in our marketing department that will report to our
Marketing Communications Manager. The salary range for this
position is $40k - $60k with compensation commensurate with
experience. This is a full-time position with medical, dental, and
vision benefits in addition to paid time off.Responsibilities:
- Write copy for project case studies, social posts, award
submissions, staff profiles, newsletters, and other miscellaneous
copywriting needs.
- Plan, organize and monitor a content calendar for consistent
social posts that reinforce our agency's creative experience and
deep knowledge for design thinking & innovation.
- Proactively pitch content ideas to keep Product Ventures top of
mind for our clients. This may include exploring new platforms,
researching similar companies, pitching news publications, or other
methods to achieve publicity for our agency.
- Adapt our website for Search Engine Optimization best
practices.
- Maintain our CRM database of email contacts for effective
targeted newsletter and advertising campaigns.
- Research and update our list of publications, awards, events,
and organizations relevant to our agency's expertise for
opportunities for publicity or thought leadership.
- Generally, adapt to the changing needs of the marketing
department and support the Marketing Communications Manager in any
initiatives assigned by Product Ventures' leadership. We want
someone who is open to learning new skills to be
effective.Requirements / Capabilities:
- Adaptive and creative thinking. Can you identify how to make
yourself useful and make an impact? We are a small company and each
position wears different hats when needed. Agency experience is a
huge plus.
- Excellent written communication ability. Any demonstration of
high-quality writing is a plus (journalism, communications, etc.).
Prior writing samples are welcomed.
- Attention to detail and proven organizational skills. Can you
reliably follow branding guidelines? Can you manage a content
calendar? Any experience showcasing organizational ability is a
huge plus. If you want to prove you read this entire job post,

- Fluency in Microsoft Suite beyond baseline understanding is
necessary. In Excel, can you make a pivot table? Can you take a
list of a thousand names and quickly count how many duplicates
exist? In Word, do you how to use 'track changes?' In Powerpoint
can you implement ordered transitions?
- Ambition or drive to enhance your skill set. Did this job post

- Experience in Hubspot or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is beneficial
but not required.
- Experience in Adobe Suite products is beneficial but not
required.
- Experience in Square Space or Word Press is beneficial but not
required.
- Experience in Constant Contact or any newsletter tool is
beneficial but not required.Product Ventures works with physical
packages and products. With this in mind, it is not possible to
offer this position as remote. You will be required to come into
the office.We are based in Fairfield, Connecticut directly off of
exit 22 on I-95 and 10 minutes walking-distance from the Fairfield
stop on the Metro North New Haven Line (accessible from Grand
