Job Description:
A reputable general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to
lead the successful delivery of ground-up commercial builds across
Brooklyn. This role is ideal for a driven, organized, and
collaborative construction professional ready to manage all phases
of development. Client Details Our client is a Long Isladn based
general contractor and construction manager with a strong
reputation in the five boroughs. With a focus on commercial
ground-up projects in sectors like retail, mixed-use, education,
and light industrial, they deliver high-quality builds with a
strong emphasis on schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.
Description Manage full lifecycle of ground-up construction
projects, from preconstruction to turnover Coordinate with owners,
architects, engineers, and subcontractors Lead budgeting,
procurement, and contract administration Maintain project
schedules, track critical path items, and mitigate delays Oversee
document control including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and
meeting minutes Conduct regular site visits and collaborate with
Superintendents to ensure safety and quality standards Drive
project meetings and ensure clear communication among all
stakeholders Profile 5-10 years of experience managing ground-up
commercial construction projects Bachelor's degree in Construction
Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of New York City building codes and permitting
process Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Excel
Excellent budgeting, communication, and team leadership skills A
solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing
deadlines Experience with DOB inspections, environmental
compliance, and subcontractor negotiations Job Offer Competitive
