Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A school district in New Britain, CT is seeking a
Special Education Teacher for an elementary inclusive classroom.
This contract position is available ASAP to cover a medical leave,
with the possibility of extending the assignment. The role involves
working onsite at an elementary school, providing support to 10-11
students alongside 1.5 paraprofessional staff. Responsibilities
include: Delivering instruction and support to students in an
elementary inclusive classroom setting Collaborating with support
staff to meet diverse student needs Managing a caseload of 10-11
students within the grade level Maintaining a positive and
structured classroom environment Qualifications and experience:
Valid CT Special Education Teacher (SPED) licensure required
Experience teaching in an elementary school setting, preferably
with inclusive classrooms Ability to work effectively with support
staff and students with varying abilities Schedule: 35 hours per
week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Benefits of this
