Job Description Job Description Job Overview of Clinician-School Based Yonkers Schools-10 Month or 12 Month Option The School-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) in the assigned school district. The School-Based Clinician engages with school personnel to assess and coordinate services and participate in activities for students and their families taking place during and after school hours. Essential Duties Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records Provides at least 25 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits Promotes integrated, person-centered care Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications Serves as an after hours clinician on a rotating basis as scheduled Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice Essential Qualifications of Clinician-School Based Yonkers Schools-10 Month or 12 Month Option Key qualifications include: Minimum of one-year experience and licensed (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT). NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred.
