An Automotive Service Technician is responsible for accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. WE OFFER: - $21.00 to $34.00 per hour flat rate - $100,000 plus income potential plus bonuses - Air Conditioned Shop - Paid training - Uniforms supplied - Paid vacation - Paid sick time - 401K - Health and dental insurance RESPONSIBILITIES - Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems - Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment - Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications - Complete online multi-point inspection reports - Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements - Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work - Document work performed on repair orders, record test procedures / results and time per company recoding procedures REQUIREMENTS: - Current state drivers license giving authorization to operate motor vehicles - Effective analytical and communication skills - Basic computer knowledge a plus - Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures - Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment - Automotive mechanical experience - Ability to lift 50 pounds - Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Positive, friendly attitude At Friendly Honda we value a diverse, inclusive workforce and we provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
