Job Description:
Nesco Resource is looking for a Setup Technician located in
Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right
candidate. Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (Can be modified based
on location/commute) Pay: $25/Hour or depending on experience
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and mechanically
inclined Set-Up Technician responsible for preparing and setting up
production machinery to support efficient and accurate
manufacturing operations. This role involves working with a variety
of tools and equipment to ensure machines are properly configured
for each job assignment. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform
mechanical set-up of machines using appropriate hand tools (e.g.,
wrenches, socket sets, Allen wrenches) based on job specifications.
Install tooling into die sets and then mount the complete die set
into the appropriate press. Utilize precision measurement tools,
including micrometers, dial indicators, and TMM equipment, to
verify accurate set-ups. Interpret blueprints and technical
drawings (preferred). Conduct set-ups on various presses/machines,
such as: Dorst Cincinnati Yoshi Gasbarre Alpha Qualifications: High
School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience setting
up mechanical presses or similar equipment preferred. Familiarity
with basic mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus. Strong
attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and accuracy.
