Job Description Job Description AC Installer III 3 Month Full?Time Contract • Extensive Travel Required Pay: $35-40/Hr Position Overview The AC Installer III is responsible for performing commercial electrical installations for energy?efficiency and solar?related projects. This role ensures safe, high?quality work while supporting project teams with equipment installation, assembly, and job?site preparation. All work must comply with NEC and OSHA standards. Key Responsibilities Work safely and follow all company and OSHA guidelines. Complete electrical work according to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Receive daily/weekly assignments from Foreman or Operations Management. Maintain a clean, organized, hazard?free job site. Use hand and power tools to install commercial electrical systems. Install AC electrical equipment from the inverter to the AC interconnection point. Install data acquisition systems, metering equipment, and communication devices. Assist with loading/unloading and staging materials. Maintain company tools and equipment appropriately. Interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Attend safety meetings and complete required safety training. Lead assigned tasks independently according to project schedules. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 4 years of commercial electrical experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Ability to work from rooftops, ladders, and various lifts. Ability to read and interpret construction plans. Strong understanding of equipment layout, installation requirements, and manufacturer specifications. Knowledge of AC, DC, grounding, and communication conduit systems. Proficient in bending and installing conduit up to 4". Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license* OSHA 10 Ladder safety certification Scissor lift certification *Reasonable accommodations may be available. Reliable transportation is required. Frequent exposure to weather (heat, cold, rain, snow). Occasional exposure to loud, dusty, or industrial environments. May require awareness of hazardous environments depending on project location. Physical Requirements Regular driving, walking, and standing. May require climbing ladders or stairs. Frequent travel between warehouse and job sites. Travel Requirements Extensive travel required. May require up to 1–2 months of continuous national travel. Must consistently arrive on time to job sites.
