Job Title: Physical Therapist Location: RWJ Rahway Department: F&W Carteret-Physical Therapy Req: 0000182420 Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Pay Range: $48.50 - $56.31 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated per hour range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: The Physical Therapist provides ongoing evaluation and assessment of patients using standardized tests and measurements and direct observation. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's, Master's or DPT degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university Certifications and Licenses Required: Current license from the NJ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Scheduling Requirements: Shift working, day shift 8am-4:30/5pm Must work 2 evening shift a week, 11:30am-8pm FT Essential Functions: Formulate objective treatment goals and plans to achieve goals Modify goals and plans as needed Provide medically prescribed treatment to outpatients May be assigned to the hospital to provide inpatient care Retain responsibility for the physical therapy of the patient being treated by the physical therapist assistant through direct supervision Complete written or computerized documentation in the medical record as pertains to patients status Complete all other forms, documents and letters as necessary Participate in committees and meetings as assigned Maintain knowledge of current laws and standards of practice as relates to physical therapy Participate in educational activities including student supervision and provision of education on areas of expertise or interest Contribute to hospital and community education within scope of knowledge as requested Benefits and Perks: At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
