WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in Fairfield, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Imaging center in Fairfield, CT. Job Function: Day Shift. 5x8: 12:30 - 9:00. Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure. Ability to explain procedures to patients. Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. Job Requirements: 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved program in Radiologic Technology. ARRT certification required; must be MR-certified. CT license required (may be obtained after accepting the position). Experience operating Siemens 3T MRI equipment. BLS certification required. Credentials: ARRT (R)(MR).
