Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Pathologists' Assistant - Discipline: Allied Health Professional -
Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Pathologists’ Assistant – Laboratory
Location: Pittsfield, MA | Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday Role:
Responsible for preparation, gross description, dissection of
surgical pathology specimens, and postmortem examinations under
pathologist supervision. Must implement hospital and lab goals
while exercising independent judgment. Requirements: - 2 years
Pathologists’ Assistant experience - Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s preferred - (PA)ASCP certification required (equivalent
not accepted) - Proficient in HIS/LIS systems and lab
instrumentation - Must have own vehicle Other:/n/nFlexible and
adaptable in emergencies; may work extra hours/shifts/n/nAccurate
specimen collection, labeling, and documentation
