Job Title: Obstetrical Nurse Navigator Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 34.5 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certificate Must-Have: BSN required, Flu & COVID vaccines required (no exemptions) Description: The Obstetrical Nurse Navigator is a clinical liaison for obstetrical patients. The primary role is to educate patients and their families regarding the labor and delivery process. This includes addressing particular patient needs and preparing them for the birthing experience. The OB Navigator also coordinates the Parent/Sibling classes offered. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills.
