Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to
provide specialized support to students in an elementary school
setting located in Bay Shore, NY. This contract position spans the
current school year (CSY) and involves delivering targeted therapy
services designed to enhance student development and learning. In
this role, you will work directly with two students: - Provide
individualized Occupational Therapy to one student twice weekly for
30 minutes each session. - Conduct small group Occupational Therapy
sessions once weekly for 30 minutes. Key responsibilities include
assessing students' needs, implementing therapeutic interventions,
and collaborating with educators and families to support each
child's progress. Your expertise will play a vital role in
fostering independence and improving fine motor, sensory, and
functional skills in the academic environment. Desired
Qualifications and Experience: - State licensure as an Occupational
Therapist. - Experience working within school settings, preferably
with elementary-aged children. - Ability to create and adapt
intervention plans based on student assessment and progress. -
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff
and families. - Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive
learning atmosphere. This contract position provides a chance to

Compensation for this position ranges from $36.70 to $56.70.
