Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Registered
Nurse Supervisor Skilled plays a critical role in ensuring the
delivery of high-quality patient care within our healthcare
facility. This position involves overseeing nursing staff,
coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. The supervisor will be
responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies and
procedures that enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.
Additionally, this role requires effective communication with
patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster a
collaborative environment. Ultimately, the Registered Nurse
Supervisor Skilled is dedicated to promoting a culture of
excellence in patient care and nursing practice. Minimum
Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of Connecticut A minimum of 1 years of nursing
experience, or with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership
role. IV Certification Preferred Qualifications: Certification in
nursing administration or a related field. Experience in skilled
nursing or long-term care settings. Proficiency in electronic
health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor
nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal
patient care. Conduct regular assessments of patient care practices
and implement improvements as necessary. Coordinate patient care
activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to
ensure seamless transitions. Ensure compliance with all healthcare
regulations, policies, and procedures, conducting audits and
quality assurance checks. Facilitate communication between
patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and
enhance patient satisfaction. Skills: The required skills for this
position include strong leadership abilities, which are essential
for guiding and mentoring nursing staff in their daily tasks.
Effective communication skills are crucial for interacting with
patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring that
everyone is informed and involved in care decisions. Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills are utilized to assess patient
care practices and implement necessary improvements. Additionally,
organizational skills are important for managing multiple patient
care activities and ensuring compliance with healthcare
regulations. Preferred skills, such as proficiency in EHR systems,
enhance the efficiency of documentation and patient management
processes. Every weekend 7am to 7pm
