Location: Brooklyn, NY Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: 40
Hours per Week 8 Hours per Day 5 Days per Week Shift: Day Shift
(7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) Compensation: Up to $2,600 per week Position
Summary The RN – Nurse Educator provides clinical education,
mentorship, and professional development support to nursing staff
within an acute care setting. This role leverages strong clinical
expertise, particularly in Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical
nursing, to promote best practices, clinical competency, and
high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Educate, mentor,
and support nursing staff through clinical instruction and guidance
Apply clinical expertise to reinforce evidence-based practices and
patient care standards Assist in the development, implementation,
and evaluation of educational programs and clinical protocols
Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure staff competency and
compliance with regulatory standards Support onboarding, training,
and continuing education initiatives Perform additional duties as
assigned to support unit operations and clinical excellence
Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery
experience Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Strong overall clinical background and teaching aptitude Education
& Licensure Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN)
from an accredited nursing program Active New York State RN License
with Primary Source Verification through NYSED AHA BLS
