Job Description:

Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a compassionate and professional Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents requiring post-hospital and post-surgical care. The successful candidate will be integral to our mission of providing premium, patient-centric health management, rehabilitation services, and skilled nursing care. Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse with attention to patient comfort and safety. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of patient therapy and treatment. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Ensure that patients’ needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies, and procedures. Participate in the development and modification of a patient’s plan of care. Communicate regularly with residents, their families, and their healthcare teams to ensure patient wellbeing. Strong clinical abilities and judgement Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in managing multiple priorities effectively Knowledge of healthcare and patient care protocols Ability to maintain accurate and detailed reports Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current Practical Nurse License in the state of employment CPR certification
