Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Springfield, MA. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast?paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high?quality perioperative care. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 4x10. /n - Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR /n - Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover /n - Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure /n - Handle and label specimens according to policy /n - Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection?control standards /n - Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary /n - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years Level 1 hospital OR experience REQUIRED /n /n - Scrub experience preferred but not required /n /n - BLS (AHA only) required /n /n - Must be comfortable in a high?acuity Level 1 trauma environment /n /n - Strong background in: Ortho, Total Joint, Neuro, Robotics, Trauma (required), Thoracic (required) /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
