Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, seeks a
Clinical Nurse III for our Vascular Surgery Unit. This position
requires advanced nursing skills and a dedication to providing
exceptional patient care in a high-volume surgical setting. You
will be at the forefront of patient care management, collaborating
with top-tier professionals in a state-of-the-art facility. Provide
direct patient care to vascular surgery patients. Manage
pre-operative and post-operative care. Coordinate with surgeons and
anesthesiologists to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients
and their families about surgical procedures and post-surgery care.
Participate in clinical trials and research projects. Implement and
evaluate new patient care protocols. Advanced knowledge of vascular
surgery nursing practices. Skill in using medical software for
patient management. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure
environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership and team management abilities. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse
(RN) license. Certification in Vascular Nursing preferred. BLS/ACLS
certification required.
