ICU/Critical Care RN in Springfield, Massachusetts, 01199! Job
Title: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse Profession: Nursing

Shift: 12 Hours Nights Hours per Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Massachusetts staffing license
required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (both through American
Heart Association) Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in a
Level 1 ICU or 2 years of experience in a Medical Intensive Care
Unit. Description: We are seeking strong ICU nurses with good
backgrounds. This is an ICU Float position that may involve
floating to other units. The Medical ICU is a 32-bed unit licensed
for Neuro Critical Care patients. The unit is divided between two
floors with solid staffing. Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are
1:2 or 1:1 if acuity requires. The cases seen include sepsis,
end-stage renal disease, and acute kidney injury requiring CRRT or
CVVH. Post-cardiac arrest care and respiratory failure management
are also part of the responsibilities. Experience in a Medical
Intensive Care Unit is preferred for candidates with one year of
experience. Candidates with only one year of experience and who
were new graduates may find this unit too challenging. Holiday
