Job Description:
The Department of Professional Psychology and Family Therapy is
dedicated to serving the needs of aspiring mental health
professionals in counseling, school counseling, school psychology,
and counseling psychology. Graduates go on for their
licensure/certification and become practicing counselors
psychologists and marriage and family therapists, as well as
receiving certificates in Sports Psychology, Drug and Alcohol
Rehabilitation, and Applied Behavior Analysis. The Department
offers a robust portfolio of certificate, master’s, educational
specialists, and doctoral programs. Each program is individualized
to meet the students’ strengths and professional goals. The
doctoral program in Counseling Psychology is APA accredited and
offers the student a 5-year program leading to the degree of
Doctorate of Philosophy. Duties and Responsibilities: Interested
applicants with a minimum of a master’s degree in the mental health
field may apply for an adjunct instructor position by completing
the online application and submitting required supplemental
materials. Candidates identified will be contacted for a required

Qualifications: Minimum of a master’s degree in the mental health
field Salary Range: Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those
without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a
