Job Description:
Description Performs all aspects of transthoracic and
transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as
appropriate. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Assists physicians with
cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic
and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac
Cath. Lab. 2. Performs post procedure care/groin management
including arterial and venous sheath removal. 3. Operates,
troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic
equipment. 4. Maintains supply inventory. 5. Other duties as
assigned Qualifications Required: 1. Graduate of an accredited
school of radiology. 2. Current AART credential of Radiology 3.
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) required.
? 4. One year of Interventional radiology/cath lab experience
required. 5. Recent hospital experience as a radiology
technologist. ?
