IRC internships offer a valuable professional learning experience for those interested in the humanitarian or nonprofit sectors. While internships are unpaid, they provide a meaningful way to contribute to global impact and gain practical experience that can launch a career in the nonprofit field. Internships are unpaid but include a daily travel and meal stipend. Internship experiences may qualify for academic credit (subject to university and program requirements). Internships typically last 8–12 weeks and may be full-time or part-time.
