The Specialist, Financial Analysis and Business Partnering provides financial and analytical support to the Agency's strategic and operational planning processes by supporting the annual budget processes and leadership on resource allocation decisions within Functional Teams. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will collaborate with business and functional team units and the global movement to foster excellence in financial management reporting across the organization. As a strategic business partner, you will support on the monthly consolidation, reporting and analysis of Agency financials and will lead as the Agresso budget module admin.

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Business Partnering, Consolidation, Reporting & Analysis of Agency Financials (40%)

* Support consolidation and analysis of Agency Financials and support Senior Director on ad-hoc analysis. * Support on the development and production of monthly Agency financial statements and Senior Leadership Team dashboard. Liaise with FA&BP team, Strategy and other key stakeholders to collect data inputs and commentary. * Analyze and provide accurate and meaningful feedback on Budget vs Actual (BvA) performance for expense reporting. Facilitate review of consolidated financials with CFO, Financial Analysis & Business Partnering team and extended Finance team. * Facilitate training and knowledge management for all budget holders. * Support in evolvement of financial reporting across the Agency to provide the Senior Management Team with timely information to support decision-making.

Annual Budget Process & Budget Revisions (40%)

* Support on the development and maintenance of budget templates and tools in coordination with Strategy team. Ensure integrity of budget tools and train staff, as needed on budget processes. * Consolidate total Agency budget. Analyze revenue and expense inputs for accuracy and alignment to budget guidance. * Analyze and summarize expense inputs and ensure accurate translation into sources and uses. * Provide updated ratios based on budget and reforecast projections for presentation to the Finance Committee * Validate final budgets and uploads into Agresso.

Financial Systems (20%)

* Lead maintenance and monthly period closing of budgeting module in financial system (Agresso) * Prep system for budget input by creating and managing versions within module. * Tie out Agresso data to board approved budget at each budget/reforecast cycle. * Provide relevant system oversight, guidance, and training to module users * Serve as testing partner for system and report enhancements, as needed

Required Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent, plus at least three years of relevant experience * Proven analytical skills with experience in budgeting and planning * Professional proficiency in MS Office, with skilled proficiency in Microsoft Excel such as data mining and consolidation for management reporting * Proficient skills in management of databases and financial management systems * Proven problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills with ability to successfully balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Professional proficiency in written and spoken English * Demonstrated focus on quality and continuous improvement * Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging

Preferred Qualifications

* Not for profit finance experience * Experience with Unit 4 Agresso financial system or other financial planning systems * Power Query, Power BI or other data management/presentation tools
