ACCOUNTING/ FINANCE INTERN ABOUT THE COMPANY AND OPPORTUNITY: Our client, located in Fairfield , is a growing company looking to add a Summer Intern. The summer intern will assist the finance department including accounting, purchasing, and payroll on administrative duties, and projects assigned by the VP of Finance. The intern will support the department in mail processing, reporting, and data entry. * They truly care about our employees & their families & promote from within ACCOUNTING/ FINANCE INTERNSHIP Responsibilities: Support department initiatives and assigned projects
Perform clerical duties, take notes, maintain files, and organize documents
Answer phone inquiries, oversee mail deliveries
Manage databases and input information, data, and records
Attend department meetings
Shadow multiple teams in the department
Any other duties as assigned Requirements: Ability to work full time (8hours/day) for at least 2 months
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Self-Motivated willing to learn and interested in working in a team environment
Strong Microsoft office and google suite experience
Strong mathematical skills and problem-solving experience
Ability to handle confidential information
Strong Microsoft office and Google suite CB2
