• Process and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and electronic fund transfers.
• Conduct thorough reviews of payment instructions to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor transaction queues and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Compliance, Risk Management, and Customer Service, to address payment-related issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of payment transactions and generate reports as needed for auditing and analysis purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to payment processing and operations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency within the payment operations department.Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payment operations, banking operations, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems and regulations, including ACH, SWIFT, and Fedwire.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and thorough transaction reviews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
