of a family-owned wholesale grower that specializes in a wide range
of seasonal products, including annuals, perennials and vegetables.
We partner with major retailers, supplying high-volume,
high-quality plant material, and pride ourselves on delivering
exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a Regional
Manager to oversee Merchandisers to provide unique merchandising
services for The Home Depot on behalf of wholesale suppliers
through extensive training on “how to” care for live goods
(annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs , etc). Maintain great client
relationships. Work with upper management to monitor budgets and
quality control. Requirements: Supervisory Responsibilities: ·
Recruit, interview, hire, and train Merchandisers. · Manage and
oversee the daily operations of assigned markets while adhering to
established budgets. · Collaborate closely with the Director of
Merchandising to meet performance goals. · Administer employee
discipline and terminations in accordance with company policies.
Essential Duties: · Oversee 2–3 assigned markets. · Interview,
hire, and train Merchandisers. · Ensure all stores meet The Home
Depot's established merchandising standards. · Provide hands-on
merchandising support in stores as needed on a daily basis. ·
Review OneDrive photo uploads to ensure images are clear, complete,
and usable. · Keep the Director of Merchandising informed of any
in-store issues requiring escalation. · Continuously build and
maintain strong relationships with The Home Depot Store Management.
· Maintain weekly documented communication with the Director of
Merchandising . · Participate in all required weekly Simply Set
calls. · Saturday hours are required from April through October;
holiday work may be required during peak season. · All time-off
requests must be approved by the Director of Merchandising and
Human Resources; refer to the offer letter and employee handbook
for blackout periods. Qualifications: · Strong verbal and written
communication skills · Excellent interpersonal and customer service
abilities · Outstanding organizational skills with a high level of
attention to detail · Proven supervisory and leadership
capabilities · Ability to effectively monitor and manage budgets ·
Enjoys working outdoors with annual and perennial plants · Able to
work in all weather conditions · Must own and be able to use a
smartphone · Highly detail-oriented · Valid driver’s license and
