Job Description:
Credentialing Coordinator A busy New York hospital is seeking a
Credentialing Coordinator to support operations activities within
our team. Responsibilities: Utilize MD-Stat Peer Review software to
manage the credentialing process. Facilitate Peer Review, Ongoing
Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), and Focused Professional
Practice Evaluation (FPPE) processes. Analyze, extract, and report
credentialing and performance data to appropriate stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes and laws relating to
credentialing. Maintain and update credentialing records and
documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to collect and verify
necessary documentation. Prepare reports and summaries for internal
reviews and external audits. Support quality assurance and
performance improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. 1–2 years of experience
in a healthcare credentialing role. Experience utilizing MD-Stat
Peer Review software is required. Working knowledge of CPMSM or
CPCS is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience with OPPE/FPPE
processes is strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills with the
ability to extract and interpret data. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to
manage sensitive information confidentially. Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software platforms. Please
note that the salary range and/or hourly rate range of $20.00 -
$24.00 is a good faith determination of potential base compensation
offered to applicants at the time of this job advertisement and may
