Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Associate
Scientist to join the Osteoarthritis team, which is part of
Connective Tissue Diseases. This is an opportunity for a researcher
with strong in vivo expertise and cartilage knowledge to contribute
to the development of small and large animal models of
osteoarthritis. As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day
might include: -Managing in vivo mouse models, performing
injections (intra-articular, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous,
intravenous), performing surgeries (destabilization of the medial
meniscus), and tissue dissections -Conducting in vitro cell
culture- based experiments, such as culturing primary chondrocytes,
chondrocyte cell lines, and chondrocyte pellet cultures -Conducting
a variety of assays including, immunohistochemistry, qPCR, ELISA,
flow cytometry, and Western blots -Collaborating with other
internal teams to coordinate cross-department experiments -Thorough
and timely record keeping, data summarization, and presentation of
results in formal and informal settings This role might be for you

the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize as needed
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Bachelors
degree in a field related to biomedicine and 3 years relevant lab
experience or a Masters degree with relevant lab experience.
Applicants must have experience with handling rodent models.
Experience with cell culture and cell-based assays is not required
